Stafford Technology Campus is Stafford County's largest approved data center project, on about 504 acres on both sides of Eskimo Hill Road near the Rappahannock Regional Landfill, planned at approximately 5.5 million square feet with 23 buildings and six substations. The Board of Supervisors approved the rezoning 6-1 in September 2024, and the rezoned property was sold for $302.3 million to an entity representing Stack Infrastructure. County figures now list the campus at 5.8 million square feet and 20 buildings. Stack held a topping-out ceremony for the first building in May 2026, and the Fredericksburg Free Press reports that Stack is partnering with Amazon Web Services on the project.
